FAQ

How are credits consumed? Credits are spent when the AI works for you, not just when you send a short message. Each turn can charge for the model response, tools it runs (reading and editing files, search, imports), image generation, screenshots, and related work. Heavier models and longer build sessions use more credits.

Can I download the code? Yes. You can download your project as a zip anytime and take the source with you. You retain ownership of the content you create in Acebuilder.

What happens if I stop paying? Do I lose my pages? No. Once you download your project, you already own the exported code. Canceling or stopping payment does not take that source away.

Can I import Pro Aceternity templates and components? Yes. Paid plans include access to Aceternity UI Pro templates and components. Pull a full template into a project, or drop in individual blocks and sections, then reshape layout and copy in chat.

Can I design a landing page from scratch without blocks? Yes. You can start from a blank starter (Next.js, Vite, or TanStack) and ask the agent to design and build from scratch. Templates and blocks speed things up, but they are optional.

Can I increase limits or buy additional credits? Yes. Upgrade to a higher plan for more monthly credits and project limits, or buy credit top-ups when you need more AI usage without changing your plan.

Why do short prompts cost so many tokens? Your typed prompt is only a small part of what the model sees. Each turn also includes chat history, system instructions, project context, and often file contents the agent reads so it can edit accurately.

What if I have issues with the application? Use the in-app chat widget for quick help, or email support@aceternity.com with your account email and a short description of what went wrong.

Is Acebuilder in beta? Yes. Acebuilder is currently in beta. Please expect bugs and rough edges as we ship quickly.

Do you offer refunds? No. Sales are final because we incur real compute and model costs when you use the product.

Do you offer PPP or student discounts? No. We do not currently offer purchasing-power parity pricing or student discounts.

Do I own the code I generate? Yes. You retain ownership of the content you create with Acebuilder.
