What is Lab Laps
Lab Laps is an all-in-one lab app and tracker for scientists. It combines a protocol tracker, multi-timer, colony counter, cell culture tools, dilution calculator, and more into a single platform. It is available as a web app and a mobile app for iOS and Android.
How to use Lab Laps
- Sign up or log in to the web app or download the mobile app from the App Store.
- Create a project to organize your experiments. Free accounts allow up to 5 projects on the web and 2 protocol projects on mobile.
- Use the tools: Access the colony counter, dilution calculator, buffer calculator, molarity calculator, master mix calculator, plate labelling, blood cell counter, multi-timer, lab counter, and more from the Tools menu.
- Manage protocols: Create step-by-step protocols with timers for each step. Run multiple timers simultaneously with labels and alerts.
- Sync across devices: Enable cloud sync to access your data on multiple devices, or turn it off for local-only storage.
- Share projects: Generate a share link for any project to collaborate with your team. Recipients can view and import the project into their own Lab Laps account.
