NaN Builders

Shared GPU infrastructure and community for running open AI models through an OpenAI-compatible API.

Introduction

What is NaN Builders

NaN is a closed community of builders who share dedicated GPUs to run open AI models. Members get access to a shared inference cluster with an OpenAI-compatible API, allowing them to build without token limits. The community is limited by real compute capacity, and new members join via a waitlist.

How to use NaN Builders
  1. Join the waitlist by leaving your email on the website.
  2. Once a spot opens, you'll be notified and can subscribe to a membership tier.
  3. After subscribing, you'll receive a personal API key compatible with OpenAI.
  4. Change the base_url in your existing OpenAI client to point to NaN's API.
  5. Start using the open models on the cluster with your API key.
Features of NaN Builders
  • OpenAI-compatible API: Use your existing tools and agents with a simple base_url change.
  • Shared GPU cluster: Access to a variety of open models running 24/7.
  • No token caps on cluster models: Most models are unmetered, with only frontier models having published token allowances.
  • Zero logs: No logging of prompts or responses; data processed in the EU.
  • Community governance: Members vote quarterly on which new models join the cluster.
  • Private Discord: Member-only channels, events, workshops, and hackathons.
  • Personal API key: Non-transferable and tied to your membership.
Use Cases of NaN Builders
  • Indie hackers and makers: Run open models for side projects without infrastructure costs.
  • Agents in production: Deploy AI agents with reliable, unlimited inference.
  • Building custom apps: Use the API to integrate open models into your own applications.
  • Learning and experimentation: Access frontier models like DeepSeek V4-Flash and MiMo v2.5 for research.
Pricing

NaN offers three membership tiers:

  • nan_member · glm 5.2 premium: €200/month (VAT included). Includes GLM 5.2 with 3,000M token allowance per billing period, 400M tokens per rolling 4h window, 500K context, 5 concurrent requests, plus everything in nan_member.
  • nan_member: €70/month (VAT included). Access to shared cluster, DeepSeek V4-Flash (2B tokens/month), MiMo v2.5 (1.0B tokens/month), other open models, personal API key, private Discord, events, and voting rights.
  • nan_community: €14.99/month (taxes included). Discord access, member-only channels, live discussions, events, and a reserved spot in line for inference.

All plans are month-to-month with no commitment. New memberships are billed in euros from any region.

FAQ

What is NaN? A closed community of builders sharing dedicated GPUs to run open models. Every member pays to be here, and there's only room for people who actually build.

How does the cluster work? The models run 24/7 on a shared inference cluster. Each member gets a personal API key compatible with OpenAI: change the base_url and you're in.

Is it really unlimited tokens? On the cluster models, no counter. The frontier ones come with a token allowance per member so the plan holds up: 2B tokens per month on DeepSeek V4-Flash, 1.0B per month on MiMo v2.5, and 3,000M per billing period on GLM 5.2 for members on the premium tier. Those limits are published here, not in fine print. The bill is the fixed subscription price and it doesn't move.

How are the models chosen? Every quarter members vote on Discord which new models join the cluster. Candidates are pre-selected technically: they have to fit the real capacity.

Where does my data go? Processed in the European Union, with no logging of prompts or responses. Your API key is personal and non-transferable. Your code trains no model and your data never leaves your session.

Who is NaN for? Builders who want to run open models seriously without building the infrastructure: indie hackers, makers, people with agents and side projects in production. It's not for someone who just wants to try a couple of prompts.

Why only open models? Because they can be audited, modified and used without asking permission. Closed ones are convenient but create dependency. With open models, the stack is yours.

Can I train models? No. NaN is inference, not training. The GPUs are optimized to run existing models at high speed, not for fine-tuning.

What payment methods do you accept? Credit or debit card. New memberships are billed in euros from any region, taxes included; subscriptions opened earlier in US dollars keep their original price. No commitment: cancel anytime.

How do I get in? Leave your email on the waitlist and we'll write when a spot opens. There's a waitlist because there are no more GPUs: when compute comes in, people come in.
