Nymos

What is Nymos

Nymos is a Mac app that renames files in bulk by reading the content inside them. It supports 57 file types, including PDFs with built-in OCR, Office documents, Pages, photos, and text files. Nymos suggests clear, findable names based on the content, and you approve each rename before it happens.

How to use Nymos

1. Drop files into Nymos (e.g., scans, invoices, photos, PDFs).
2. Nymos reads the content of each file, not just the filename.
3. It suggests a new name based on a template (e.g., date, vendor, amount).
4. Review the suggestions; you can edit them inline.
5. Apply the rename to individual files or the whole batch.
