AI usage is included in the license as a quota of images and text tokens, so you do not need separate accounts with model providers to launch. If your platform exceeds the quota, overage is billed at a fixed rate per image and per 1,000 tokens. This makes your unit economics predictable from day one.
Which AI models does the platform use? Can I connect my own? The platform runs on our own integrated LLM and image generation APIs, configured for companion-style conversation, so nothing needs setting up on your side. If you prefer your own models, any OpenAI-compatible API can be connected instead, including your own provider account or a self-hosted model. That keeps you free to change providers as the market moves.
Can I launch under my own brand? Yes. Scrile AI is fully white-label: your domain, logo, design, character catalog, and pricing, with no Scrile branding visible to users. You control onboarding, the companion catalog, monetization logic, and the product roadmap. Your users never see that the platform runs on third-party software.
What monetization models does the platform support? Subscriptions, token or credit packages, premium characters, paid image generation, voice features, message limits, and tiered access, in any combination. Most companion products combine a subscription for baseline access with tokens for image generation and premium interactions, because that keeps revenue aligned with your AI costs. Pricing rules are set from the admin panel.
How long does it take to launch? A standard configuration goes live in a matter of weeks, not months, because you start from a working product rather than a blank codebase. The timeline depends mainly on how much custom work you add: your own design, custom onboarding, extra integrations, or non-standard features. We give you a concrete schedule after a demo call.
Can users create their own AI companions on my platform? Yes. Your platform can let users define a companion's appearance, personality traits, communication style, backstory, and preferences, and keep it in their own collection. User-created characters drive engagement in AI friend, roleplay, and entertainment products. You decide whether user-generated companions stay private or appear in the public catalog.
Does the platform support memory and relationship progression? Yes. Companions retain user context between sessions: remembered preferences, recurring topics, personal goals, and past conversations. On top of that you can configure relationship levels, trust stages, unlockable interaction modes, daily prompts, and streaks. This is what separates a companion product from a chatbot, and it is what drives retention and repeat purchases.
Can I add voice generation? Yes. The platform supports text chat, AI image generation, and voice interaction out of the box, and each can be enabled, priced, or restricted per plan. Images and voice are also the most common monetized actions in companion products, so they double as engagement features and as a revenue stream.
How does the platform prevent prohibited content? Generating or depicting minors is prohibited. The restriction is enforced at the prompt layer that governs image generation, it applies on every install, and it does not change by market, and you can additionally connect a third party service to check generated output before it reaches the user. Beyond that boundary, you define what your characters can and cannot discuss through content rules, restricted topics, and moderation workflows in the admin panel.
Is the platform GDPR compliant? What about the EU AI Act? The platform can be hosted in the EU, provides consent flows, editable policies, and account and data deletion tools, and includes region based access controls so you can restrict markets whose rules do not fit your product. Beyond that, compliance is mostly a matter of operation rather than software: who you let in, what your characters are allowed to become, which topics your prompts rule out. You set those policies as the operator. We keep the platform current with the rules as they change and configure the controls you need.
Where is the platform hosted? Can I run it on my own servers? Hosting runs on our infrastructure, with EU and US regions available, so you can choose the jurisdiction your business needs. Self-hosting on your own infrastructure is possible for larger projects and is agreed individually, along with the terms for source code access. Your data can be exported at any time regardless of where the platform runs.
