AI assistant for eBay listing, inventory, and profit tracking
Strooply is an AI-powered eBay reselling assistant that helps users list items, track profit and mileage, manage inventory, and publish directly to eBay. It uses AI to identify products from photos, pull live market data, and create optimized eBay listings in seconds. The app is available on iOS, Android, and as a full web app.
What exactly does the AI identify from a photo?
Strooply uses Google’s Gemini vision AI to identify brand, model, product name, size, condition, and relevant details. It then searches for matching sold listings on eBay and pulls real market data. Accuracy varies by category.
Do I need an eBay account to use Strooply?
You can research public market data and save drafts before connecting eBay. An eBay seller account is required for publishing listings and syncing inventory, orders, payouts, and financial results.
Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. The free plan is permanent, not a trial. After a 14-day Pro trial, you drop to the free plan with 15 AI lookups/month, 5 listings published/month, and full financial tracking. No credit card required.
How accurate is the market pricing data?
Strooply shows live eBay comps, current listings, and an estimate of what the item sells for. Each sold-price figure is labeled as live eBay data or an AI estimate. You always make the final price decision.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Strooply is available on iOS, Android, and as a full web app. All platforms share the same features and sync data automatically.
What eBay fees does the profit tracker account for?
It accounts for eBay’s final value fee (FVF), promoted listing ad costs, actual shipping charges vs. what you charged the buyer, and any refund/return costs. These are pulled directly from eBay’s Finances API.
Will Strooply get my eBay account suspended?
No. Strooply uses eBay’s official, approved API with standard OAuth authentication. It never scrapes, never uses automation bots, and never exceeds rate limits. Every listing is reviewed and confirmed by you first.
How does Strooply connect to my eBay account?
It uses eBay’s standard OAuth 2.0 flow. You authorize Strooply directly on eBay’s website, credentials are never shared, and tokens are stored encrypted using AES-256-GCM. You can revoke access anytime.
What happens after Strooply identifies my item?
Strooply finds relevant eBay market results, shows live comps and a sold-price estimate, and prepares an editable listing draft. You can correct the identity, remove weak matches, adjust the price, and review every draft field before publishing.
How does Strooply handle items purchased in a lot?
A combined lot cost can be allocated across sellable units. When units sell, Strooply applies the corresponding per-unit COGS instead of deducting the whole lot from a single sale.
How does receipt scanning connect to inventory?
Receipt scanning extracts merchant, date, totals, and line items. You can link those lines to individual items or lots so acquisition cost flows into inventory and profit reporting. Unclear totals and discounts are flagged for review.
Does Strooply publish AI-generated listings without my approval?
No. AI suggestions remain in an editable draft. You review photos, title, description, condition, item specifics, price, shipping, and seller policies before explicitly confirming the publish action.
What happens when a sold item is returned and relisted?
Strooply keeps the refund and return-shipping loss in the original sale cycle. If the same item is relisted and sells again, lifetime profit can reflect both the first return and the later successful sale.
Can I use Strooply to track sourcing trips and mileage?
Yes. Sourcing trips can group store stops, purchased inventory, receipts, and mileage. This helps connect where an item came from with its acquisition cost and eventual sale result.
