Vocapable is an AI phone agent platform: an AI receptionist for inbound calls plus outbound voice agents for customer feedback, staffing shift and sales qualification calls, running on your own Twilio numbers.
Vocapable is an AI phone agent platform that provides an AI receptionist for inbound calls and outbound voice agents for customer feedback, staffing shift calls, and sales qualification. It runs on your own Twilio numbers or can include a managed US local business number. The platform is designed to turn business conversations into useful next steps, with a focus on compliance and evidence for every call.
With a managed US local number:
With your own Twilio account:
Additional charges: Managed non-AI incoming time is $0.025 per started minute; each connected standard US outgoing transfer leg is $0.03 per started minute; extra standard local numbers are $3/month. AI overage and extra number rentals require settled prepaid credit.
Each additional outbound session is $200/month. Phone number and carrier usage are paid to Twilio separately.
Can Vocapable make outbound calls too? Yes. Sales qualifies eligible prospects, Workforce collects responses from your own roster, and Engage runs customer feedback calls. You define the audience, questions, and next steps. Your team confirms meetings and staffing assignments.
Can I use reception and outbound together? Yes. Add incoming reception to an outbound plan, with separate capacity and pricing for each direction. The attached Receptionist offer differs from the standalone tiers shown here. Review the combined offers on our live pricing page.
Who can my outbound agent call? Contacts your business is permitted to call. AI disclosure, opt-outs, calling windows, and frequency controls are part of the workflow. You remain responsible for your audience and permissions; a calling tool does not itself create consent.
Can I keep my business phone number? You can use supported numbers through your own Twilio account. The available connection path depends on your current number and carrier. Check the phone setup requirements before making changes to your existing service.
What happens when someone wants a person? You choose transfer destinations and call-handling rules. When someone isn’t available, configured fallback routes can offer a queue or a message. These routes need to be set up and tested for your business.
How does it know about my business? Add your business details, or use the website-assisted setup where available. You review the suggested information before it becomes your agent’s knowledge, including hours, services, FAQs, and how to handle different calls.
What happens outside my business hours? You choose your closed-hours experience. A recorded message and voicemail route can collect a message without starting an AI conversation. Carrier charges still apply; AI usage is only billed when AI is used.
Can I hear the voices before signing up? Published voice recordings appear in the player and voice library without an account. They demonstrate the voice sound using an example script. Your business knowledge and call-handling choices shape your own agent.
Is there a free trial or sandbox? You can listen to the recordings before buying. You choose and pay for your service, then complete guided setup and the checks required to go live. Review current terms and pricing before purchase.
