What is Baseline Core

Baseline Core is an open-source skills system that provides product methodology and business context to AI agents. It aims to make AI tools perform actual product work by integrating 12 skills, 14 frameworks, and 34 reference files, all wired to your business context. How to use Baseline Core

1. Run the CLI: Execute a single command and answer a few questions about your business. The system will set up with your context integrated, including skills, frameworks, reference files, and AGENTS.md.
2. Interact with AI tools: Use the system with any AI tool that reads AGENTS.md, such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, GitHub Copilot, and JetBrains AI. For ChatGPT and Gemini, use file upload. You can ask the AI to perform tasks like designing user flows, writing product requirements documents (PRDs), planning sprints, or handing off specifications to engineering.
3. Receive structured output: The system delivers usable outputs like strategy decks, design specs, sprint plans, and positioning documents that are structured, on-brand, and ready for handover.
