Anonymous TikTok viewing, downloading, and comment exporting tool
TikViewer is a free anonymous TikTok story viewer that allows you to watch and save TikTok stories without logging in. It also functions as a downloader for videos (with or without watermark) and audio (MP3), and as a comment exporter. The tool operates entirely in your browser, requires no app or extension, and never connects to your TikTok account.
TikViewer offers a free tier and three paid plans (billed annually, with 50% savings vs monthly):
One credit equals one exported comment; a download costs 100–200 credits depending on the file. Watching and reading remain free.
Can I view a profile without an account?
Yes. This TikTok story viewer never logs in — enter a username and the profile loads in your browser, with nothing to trace back.
Will the creator know I looked?
No. A view is filed against a signed-in account, and there is no account here.
Can this get my TikTok account suspended?
It cannot reach your account to affect it. You never connect it, authorise it, or type a password, and nothing is ever posted, followed or viewed on your behalf. If you are signed in to TikTok in another tab, that session is untouched.
Does this work on private accounts?
No. Only public profiles are reachable. Anything claiming otherwise is not telling you the truth.
How long do stories stay up, and can an expired one be recovered?
Twenty-four hours, then they are gone — not from here, and not from anywhere that says otherwise. Once the window closes the story is no longer served publicly, so no viewer has anything left to ask for; the only copy still in existence is the creator's own. If the same clip was also posted to the profile grid, that copy is still there and can be saved at any time.
Is the download really watermark-free?
Yes. You get the source MP4 at the quality it was uploaded, not a re-encode with the logo cropped out.
Why does this cost credits when other story viewers are free?
Looking costs nothing here either — browsing a profile, playing a video and reading the whole comment section are free and need no account. Credits are only spent when you take something away: a watermark-free MP4, an MP3, or a CSV or Excel file of the comments. Those cost us real money to fetch, and an export bills only for the rows that actually come back.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser you already have.
Do you keep a record of what I looked at?
Not what you look at. Browsing is not written down, so there is no search history to leak later. The exception is a save you pay for, which leaves a billing record with the link on it — the way any receipt does. As for the files: a video download streams straight from TikTok's CDN, so no copy of it sits on our side, and the MP3 we cut here is deleted a day later.
Nothing loaded. What went wrong?
Almost always one of three things: the handle is misspelt, the account is private, or the post you were after has been taken down. A public profile loads in a second, so an empty result is usually one of those three rather than a fault.
Is it legal to download someone else's video?
The video belongs to whoever made it. Saving a public post to watch later, or keeping a copy of your own work, is ordinary use. Re-uploading it, or putting it in something you sell or advertise with, is not something this tool can grant you permission for — that is between you, the creator, and the law where you are.
Is TikViewer connected to TikTok?
No. It is independent and unaffiliated. TikTok is a trademark of its owner.
