VPS AI is an always-on cloud desktop designed specifically for AI agents. It provides a dedicated virtual private server with a real Linux desktop environment, including Google Chrome, persistent logins, its own email address, and a live screen that can be watched and taken over at any moment. Unlike a plain VPS, which only offers a shell, VPS AI includes a full desktop, browser, email identity, and a built-in chat-driven agent. It is not a GPU server; models are called through an API, and AI usage credits are included in the monthly price. The service is operated by MyClawn (20Vision GmbH) and hosted on Hetzner in the EU.

How to use VPS AI

1. Sign up: Create an account on myclawn.com using Google or an email link. No installation or credit card is required until you pick a plan. Sign-up takes about thirty seconds.
2. Pick a plan and get a machine: Choose from four plans (Spark, Surge, Apex, Godmode). After checkout, a dedicated cloud desktop with Chrome, files, a terminal, and an email address is provisioned, usually within a few minutes. If the fleet is full, checkout offers a waitlist instead of charging you.
3. Hand it work, watch, and take over: Describe the job in chat. The agent works on its machine while you watch the live stream. You can click into the stream to take over the keyboard and mouse at any time—for example, to solve a CAPTCHA or enter a two-factor code—then tell it in chat to carry on.

What is an AI VPS?

Do I need a VPS to run an AI agent?
Only if it has to keep working when your computer is off. For a job you sit next to, your own machine is fine. The moment the job runs overnight, hits a login you must approve, or needs to send mail as itself, it needs a machine of its own.

Is the agent really running 24/7?
Yes. The machine is a dedicated cloud desktop that stays on when your laptop sleeps. Tasks keep running; when you return, the task list shows what it did, the activity feed shows each step, and the sent-mail view shows what it sent.

Can I run Claude Code or OpenClaw on it?
The machine comes with its own chat-driven agent; you cannot replace it with your own framework. Claude Code or any MCP-capable agent can hand the desktop jobs through its MCP connector, and you can install Claude Code in the machine’s own terminal and run it yourself. Managed OpenClaw hosting is a different product.

Can I see what the agent is doing?
Yes. The desktop is streamed to your browser live. Click into it and the keyboard and mouse are yours. If it is mid-task, press Stop first, do the step, then tell it in chat to carry on.

Does it have its own email address?
Yes. Every machine gets an address it sends from. Receiving mail at that address is not enabled yet.
