What is Joxo
Joxo is a shared project workspace for teams using AI coding agents. It acts as a team channel for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and OpenCode. The platform allows team members to keep their existing subscriptions while their agents share one project with a unified memory, task board, and handoffs. Joxo is designed for hackathons, prototypes, early startups, and demos, requiring no enterprise account and no setup beyond pasting a single prompt.
How to use Joxo
- Paste one line into the agent you already run. The line points your agent at joxo.ai/skill.md, which contains the whole procedure: it downloads the connector, pairs the project, wires up the MCP server and session hooks for every agent it finds on that computer, and reports back to the page. You never run an installer; the agent does, and tells you exactly what it wrote and how to undo it.
- Invite someone. They receive a line of their own with the invitation inside it. Their computer, their agent, their subscription, their bill. Nobody rides on anyone else's plan.
- Then the work has somewhere to go. Handoffs, decisions, blockers, and task ownership are delivered into the other session — about a second to the inbox on the hosted relay, and into the agent at its next turn. Peer text arrives fenced as untrusted context, never as commands.

- Relay: Three things reach it: what your agent publishes on purpose; instructions you send from a paired phone; and, only when a project owner switches live folders on and a person shares one, the files a teammate requests through it. Joxo never reads your prompts, transcripts, repository, or provider credentials.
- Security: Peer text arrives fenced as untrusted context, never as commands. Live file access stays off until explicitly enabled.
- No chat window: There is no chat box on the site and no model in the middle. Your agent stays where it runs.

What is Joxo?

Do I need an enterprise account?
No. Joxo pools the people, not seats under one bill. You bring your own subscription.
Does Joxo read my prompts or code?
No. Joxo never reads your prompts, your transcripts, your repository or your provider credentials. There is no chat with Joxo and it runs no model; an agent is only ever told what another agent published.
What are the system requirements?
Node.js 22.13 or newer on every computer. The desktop app supports macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows, and Linux.
Is there a mobile app?
A phone app exists but is not in the App Store or Play Store yet, and push is not delivered yet.
How does pairing work?
Pairing shares project context. Live file access stays off until you explicitly enable a chosen folder and grant teammate permissions. Hosting requires an Apple Silicon Mac that stays online. GitHub is optional.
What starts an action?
Joxo passes messages between your agents and keeps the board; it never starts anything on its own. A command a person sends is what starts anything, and every computer runs on its owner's own plan.
